Description

Students learn about the basic rules and principles of
stage design as an interdisciplinary artistic practice
which integrates architecture, performing and visual arts.
They learn about the standards of creating stage scenes
when it comes to various stage events, particularly dealing
with the difference of stage design for the theatre, film
or TV. They are introduced to the complexity of stage
design and all the elements and professions participating
in it, from the concept to its realisation. A special
emphasis is put on creating the stage space, as well as on
the implementation of new technologies on stage.

Learning outcomes

(max. 50 words)

Students acquire knowledge and perceive differences in
creating stage design for various needs. They also prepare
the study and technical documentation for the project
development. Furthermore, they should adequately respond to
the demands of a director, with the ability to analyse the
idea with a personal contribution
