Description

Objective of this course is to introduce students with the
basics of management as a science and profession; to
intruduce with the most important theories of management
like scientific, administrative and behavioral, as well as
modern approaches; to understand and adapt the basic
techniques and methods of making business decisions in
complex business conditions. Course intends to make
students develop analytical way of thinking, detail
overview and understanding of the content, form and
interconnection of the basic stages of the management
process (planning, organizing, guiding and controlling).

Learning outcomes

After passing this course, students will be able to
understand the role of management in modern organizations;
to identify the basic problems in the operational and
tactical management of the company, and to, personally or
in team be able to analyze and solve them. Students will be
able to independently discuss the basic principles in each
of the basic managerial functions and be able to make
decisions on operational and tactical levels.
