The University and the students are complementary parties in the affirmation and verification of the faculties’ work.

Union University leadership, composed of the Council, Senate, Secretary, Pro-Rector and Rector, is charged with adopting strategic documents, deciding on doctoral dissertations, awarding PhD titles, appointment of teachers, issuance of diplomas, recognition of foreign diplomas, international cooperation and other duties within the University’s purview.

As an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education holder, the University participates in EU programmes and supports the mobility of teachers, associates and students.

As set out in its Statute, the University ensures coordinated provision of high education by its constituent faculties and aims to continuously improve the quality of teaching and the development of scientific research and artistic creation. In essence, its main role is to foster collaboration among the faculties and encourage exceptional teaching, scientific and artistic efforts.
